Easy Homemade Guacamole Recipe

This recipe tastes fresh and is easy to put together as the ingredients are easy to get. You'll never buy store bought guac again.

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 3 Avocados - Ripe Ripe
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 1 bunch Cilantro
  • 1 Onion White or Red
  • 3 Jalapeno's
  • 2 Limes
  • 1 tsp Kosher Salt to Taste To Taste

Instructions

  • Cut the avocados in half and remove the pit. Dig out the avocado from the skin. Discard the skin.

  • Crush the avocados in a mixing bowl with a fork. Don't overdo it. We want to leave the avocado slightly chunky.

  • Chop the onion and tomatoes into small pieces and add to the mixing bowl.

  • Cut the ends of the jalapeno off and cut the jalapeno in half. Use a spoon to dig out the membrane and seeds from the jalapeno and discard. Chop the remaining jalapeno into small pieces and add to the mixing bowl.
  • Rinse the cilantro with water and remove the stems. Chop the cilantro into fine pieces. Add to mixing bowl.

  • Cut the limes in half and squeeze all the juice into the mixing bowl.

  • I start by adding 1-2 teaspoons of salt and the add more salt to taste.

  • Mix all the ingredients together with a fork. Taste and confirm if it needs more salt or lime.

  • Enjoy. You've just made the best guacamole you'll ever eat.
